Deniz Irgi is a finance associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice.

Mr. Irgi represents companies, creditors, and other parties in all aspects of distressed situations and liability management.

Mr. Irgi advises companies in out-of-court restructurings and chapter 11 proceedings, including prepackaged chapter 11 cases, debtor-in-possession financings, and bankruptcy litigation matters.

Mr. Irgi also regularly advises companies on successful strategies to address mass tort and legacy liabilities through in- and out-of-court solutions, including co-defendants in connection with mass tort bankruptcies.

Mr. Irgi received his JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he served as article and essays editor for the California Law Review.
