Dave Hart is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Dave represents private equity fund sponsors and other alternative asset managers on a broad range of matters related to the formation and operation of their private equity funds.
He advises both large and mid-market sponsors on a variety of investment funds and related transactions within the private equity industry. His practice covers both closed- and open-ended funds targeting traditional buyout, infrastructure, energy, real estate, retail, and technology investments. He advises on the full life cycle of such funds as well as related entities, including co-investment vehicles, separately managed accounts, and other bespoke arrangements.
Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Dave was an associate in the funds practice of an international law firm, including time on secondment at The Blackstone Group.
