Courtney Lem is an associate in the Orange County office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Lem graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, and received the Faculty Award for Art Law and the Dean’s Awards for Criminal Law and Evidence.

During law school, Ms. Lem served as the editor-in-chief for the UC Irvine Law Review, and was selected to participate in UCI’s Appellate Litigation Clinic where she co-wrote a brief for the Ninth Circuit in a Convention Against Torture appeal case. Ms. Lem also served as a legal intern for the Orange County Office of the Public Defender. Before attending law school, Ms. Lem volunteered as an English teacher in the Peace Corps.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Lem was a summer associate in the Orange County office.
