Connor Jobes is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Connor advises financial institutions, fintech companies, and other market participants on a broad range of regulatory and transactional matters. Connor’s practice includes banking and payments regulation, money transmission, broker-dealer matters, digital assets and emerging technologies, and the financial regulatory aspects of corporate transactions and financings. Connor also assists with commercial arrangements involving banks, fintech companies, payment service providers, and other financial industry participants, as well as collaborative initiatives among financial institutions. In addition, Connor helps clients navigate evolving federal and state requirements, engage with financial regulators, and assess the impact of new regulations on innovative products and business models.
Connor also maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting small businesses and nonprofit entities with corporate governance and other operational concerns.
Before joining Latham, Connor gained experience in the White House at the Counsel’s Office and the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, worked in several capacities on Capitol Hill, including positions in US House leadership and committee offices, and managed congressional affairs and federal policy for a national mental health nonprofit.
