Clive Wong is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department. Mr. Wong advises clients on transactions in the international capital markets space.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Wong was a financial analyst at a leading investment bank.

Mr. Wong’s experience includes representing:   

  • Simon Property Group on a €750 million exchangeable bond issuance
  • Mersin International Port Inc, as issuer, on its US$600 million 8.25% notes issuance
  • A GCC sovereign wealth fund on its US$5.5 billion “green” bonds issuance under its MTN program
  • A GCC sovereign wealth fund in the establishment of its euro medium term note program and inaugural issuance of US$3 billion “green” bonds thereunder
  • The underwriters on various issuances by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank pursuant to its Global Medium Term Note Program
  • Qatar National Bank, as issuer, on its Medium Term Note Program update and issuances thereunder
  • Cipher Mining Technologies Inc. in connection with a SPAC merger with Good Works Acquisition Corp., valuing Cipher at US$2 billion
  • The underwriters on Ukraine’s US$1.25 billion bond issuance
  • The underwriters in connection with Enel Group’s US$4 billion bond issuance, the largest-ever Sustainability-Linked transaction in the fixed-income capital markets
  • The underwriters on Gunvor’s US$300 million bond issuance
  • EQT Partners on their €500 Million Sustainability-Linked Bond
