A recognized leader at the firm, Christian is a longtime member of Latham’s Ethics Committee, meaning he is trusted to provide internal legal advice to Latham’s other attorneys on complex ethical issues.

Christian maintains an active pro bono practice, including immigration matters, serving as a guardian ad litem, and representing individuals who have been wronged.

  • Riverstone Holdings and certain former directors and officers of Alta Mesa Resources, Inc. in a securities class action and opt-out suit alleging securities and state law violations arising from a deSPAC transaction that was the first of its kind to go to trial
  • Booz Allen Hamilton in Delaware litigation (which resulted in a win at the Delaware Supreme Court) and federal securities litigation (which was settled during trial) arising from a go-private transaction
  • HCA and its directors and officers in securities class actions, stockholder derivative suits, and ERISA actions in state and federal courts
  • SandRidge Energy founder and former chairman and CEO in federal securities class actions and ERISA litigation in Oklahoma concerning the company’s oil and gas production estimates and financial projections
