Chelsi DeTurk is an associate in the Bay Area offices of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. DeTurk represents public and private companies on a variety of transactions, including:

  • Securities offerings, including initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on offerings, and secondary offerings
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Venture capital financings
  • General corporate representation of both publicly traded and privately held companies

Ms. DeTurk graduated from Columbia Law School as a James Kent Scholar. While in law school, she served as an editor of the Science and Technology Law Review.

Prior to joining the firm full-time, Ms. DeTurk was a summer associate in the Silicon Valley office and held a legal internship at Sonos.

Ms. DeTurk’s experience includes representing:

  • The underwriters in the US$100 million public offering by Alpine Immune Sciences
  • The underwriters in the US$105 million public offering by Chinook Therapeutics
  • Wolfspeed in its US$1.52 billion convertible senior notes offering
