Chad Leiper is an associate in the Houston office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences and Privacy & Cyber Practices.

Chad advises on regulatory and transactional matters for healthcare and life sciences industry clients, including major hospital systems, provider practices, biotechnology companies, digital health and wellness companies, and healthcare startups. He also advises on regulatory compliance risks for private equity firms and venture capital groups in healthcare capital markets and M&A transactions.

Chad advises clients on various regulatory and compliance matters, including:

  • Fraud and abuse and self-referral laws
  • Development and management of innovate healthcare delivery systems, including clinically integrated networks and value-based enterprises

Chad earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and holds an MS in Business and a BS in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University. During law school, he interned for Judge Gray Miller and Chief Judge Lee Rosenthal in the Southern District of Texas and served as an articles editor on the Houston Law Review. Chad is a member of the American Health Law Association and the American Bar Association Health Law Section.
