Brittany Rustad is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rustad was a government honors intern at the Securities and Exchange Commission, gaining valuable experience in Securities Act 1934 civil litigation. She also worked as a law clerk for the Federal Trade Commission.

While attending law school at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Ms. Rustad worked in the Bluhm Legal Clinic for the Center on Wrongful Convictions. She also served as an associate editor for the Journal of Law and Social Policy.

Prior to law school, Brittany was a teacher and assistant principal through Teach For America in Gary, Indiana.

Ms. Rustad currently serves on Teach For America’s Auxiliary Board.
