Brittany D. Ruiz represents issuers and underwriters in complex, high-profile equity and debt offerings globally. Ms. Ruiz helped pioneer direct listings in the groundbreaking Spotify transaction in 2018, the first of its kind.
Ms. Ruiz handles prominent equity and debt capital markets transactions on behalf of globally recognized brands, major investment banks, and private equity firms. She advises on matters involving a range of industries, with a particular focus on the technology, consumer retail, and healthcare sectors.

Ms. Ruiz has co-authored numerous articles on direct listings, including a case study on Spotify’s direct listing. She also contributed to the chapters on direct listings and IPOs in the most recent edition of Investment Banking: Valuation, LBOs, M&A, and IPOs, a best-selling book on deal-making and definitive resource for investment banks, private equity, investment firms, and corporations.
