Brittany Record advises clients on complex and sensitive matters in state and federal courts, with a focus on case strategy and dispositive motions practice.
Brittany draws on extensive experience to help clients navigate law and motions work in securities and commercial litigation and appellate matters.
Brittany previously served as Deputy Solicitor General of Virginia and Senior Counsel to an investigative committee in the US House of Representatives, where she managed a portfolio of high-profile litigation.
She has argued a number of cases in the US Courts of Appeals, US District Courts, and Virginia state courts, including the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Before joining Latham, Brittany served as a law clerk to Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen G. Breyer of the Supreme Court of the United States; Judge Patricia Millett of the US Court of Appeals for the Washington, D.C. Circuit; and Judge Jeffrey Sutton of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
