Breanna Comunale is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins.

Breanna maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking asylum and Spanish-speaking business owners.

Breanna is also currently a research affiliate with the Resnick Center for Food Law and Policy. She is the co-author with Professor Michael Roberts on an upcoming work analyzing the US Food and Drug Administration’s history.

While in law school, Breanna served as the chief executive editor of UCLA Law’s Chicanx-Latinx Law Review, where she helped publish novel research on Latinx representation at law schools and law firms. She also was a research assistant to Professor Scott Cummings and Professor Michael Roberts. She participated in UCLA’s Immigrant Family Legal Clinic.
