Bie Cookey is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Banking & Private Credit Practice.

Bie advises banks, private credit funds, and other financial institutions on a wide range of financing transactions, with a particular focus on European and cross-border leveraged finance transactions.

Bie spent time on secondment to the Leveraged Debt Capital Markets desk at Deutsche Bank in 2023.

  • The arrangers on the refinancing of Delivery Hero’s existing US$813 million and €300 million term loans and €500 revolving credit facility*
  • Financing sources on Energy Capital Partners’ £1.3 billion acquisition of Biffa plc*
  • Financing sources on Goldman Sachs Asset Management Division’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Norgine B.V.*
  • The lenders in connection with Evoca S.p.A’s maturity extension of its existing revolving credit facility*
  • The lenders on Ardonagh’s £300m revolving credit facility*
  • The arrangers on Cognita School’s €1.159 billion refinancing*
  • The underwriters on the debt financing package to support Brookfield’s acquisition of Modulaire Group*
