Drawing on nearly a decade of experience at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and significant private practice experience, Ben collaborates across the firm to produce actionable insights and thought leadership on structured finance and securities compliance. He regularly develops resources to enhance knowledge sharing and client service, including:
- Regulatory guidance and structural advice for structured finance and securitization transactions
- Practical tools to streamline deal execution and compliance
- Analysis of market and regulatory developments
He actively participates in the firm’s knowledge management initiatives and engages with external industry forums to keep the practice at the forefront of industry developments.
Prior to joining Latham, Ben served in the Office of Structured Finance within the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance and practiced in the financial products group of a leading international law firm.
