Atharva Deshpande is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Infrastructure Finance team, part of the Banking & Private Credit Practice.

Atharva advises infrastructure funds, institutional investors, and financial institutions on a broad range of infrastructure finance matters.

Prior to joining Latham in 2026, Atharva trained at a magic circle law firm, where he also completed a secondment at Airbus.

Advising Thyssengas on its €1.4 billion long-term financing
Advising the lender group on a US$2 billion amortizing pre-export finance facility*
Advising a financial institution on the financing of the acquisition of an existing interest in a large-scale wind farm*
Advising the sponsor on the acquisition of shareholding interests in multiple offshore transmission owners*
