Ashley Robson is an associate in the Singapore office’s Project Development & Finance Practice.

Ms. Robson represents sponsors, lenders, and borrowers in connection with the financing of energy and infrastructure projects across the world. Ms. Robson has also undertaken a secondment in the Singapore office of Latham & Watkins, broadening her experience in the Asia market.

Ms. Robson’s recent experience includes advising on the following:

  • Barossa LNG, Australia – the export credit agencies and commercial bank lenders on the financing of SK E&S’s 37.5% share of the Barossa LNG gas field
  • Acquisition and financing of power plants, Chile – Representing the sponsors on a US$980 million concurrent bank and bond project finance transaction for a portfolio of existing and new-build electricity generation assets in Chile, awarded Americas Power Deal of the Year at Project Finance International (PFI) Awards 2021
  • Acquisition of Royal Dutch Shell’s assets in the Republic of Gabon – Represented Carlyle International Energy Partners in connection with Carlyle International Energy Partners, L.P.'s acquisition of the assets of a Gabon-based company engaged in exploring, producing, and refining petroleum
  • Cirebon Coal-Fired Power Plant Expansion Project, Indonesia – Represented the sponsors in the US$1.74 billion financing for the project development and financing of the Cirebon coal-fired power plant expansion project of an ultra-supercritical coal-fired power plant with an installed capacity of 1,000MW (1,000MW x 1 unit) in Cirebon Regency, West Java, Indonesia
  • Ichthys LNG Project Refinancing, Australia – Represented the lenders in the refinancing of loans to the Ichthys LNG Project in Australia   
  • Octopus LNG Project, Chile – Represented the sponsors in connection with the financing of the development and construction of a gas-fired power generation facility and related LNG regasification and import terminal in Chile, incorporating an FSRU           
  • Tanjung Jati B Power Project, Indonesia – Represented the lenders and export credit agencies on the financing for the Tanjung Jati B Power Project, consisting of two 1000MW coal-fired power plants in Indonesia
  • Perstorp – Revolving credit facility, concurrent with a US$1.22 billion senior secured bond offering, for Perstorp Holding AB, a producer and seller of specialty chemicals, to refinance existing debt   
  • Pirelli – Amendment to term loans and revolving credit facilities for Pirelli & C. S.p.A., a tire manufacturer, to refinance €6.4 billion of existing debt
