Ashley Pappenfus is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Finance Department.

Ms. Pappenfus represents both institutional lenders and corporate borrowers on secured credit facilities, acquisition financing, loan syndications, and other financial matters. As part of her active pro bono practice, Ms. Pappenfus empowers citizens across the United States to understand and exercise their constitutional right to vote through a year-round, volunteer lawyer-run, national hotline.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Pappenfus worked at an international law firm where she represented lenders and borrowers in diverse financings, including direct lending and cross-border transactions.

While in law school, Ms. Pappenfus was a senior editor of the Georgetown Journal of Poverty Law. She also served as a mentor in the Women’s Legal Alliance and was a member of the Latin American Law Students Association.
