Areeb Asif is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

Areeb joined the firm in 2025 after graduating from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. While in law school, Areeb served as Senior Symposium Editor for the Northwestern University Law Review and as a research and teaching assistant to various professors. He won First Place and the Adlai E. Stevenson II Best Brief Award in the 61st Julius H. Miner Moot Court Competition and was also the recipient of three Kirkland & Ellis Awards (top student in Constitutional Law, Evidence, and Torts sections), the Arlyn Miner Book Award (top student in Communication & Legal Reasoning section), and multiple Student Bar Association awards for leadership and service.
