Annika Bilics is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins’ Frankfurt office.

Ms. Bilics advises companies and financial investors primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate law matters. Her practice covers both the buy-side and sell-side of acquisitions as well as co-investments and management participations.

Ms. Bilics studied law and economics at the University of Mannheim and at the Kingston University London. Prior to joining Latham as an associate, she worked for several years at another international law firm.

Ms. Bilics’ experience includes advising:

  • LeanIX`s investors on the sale to SAP
  • Advent on the joint venture with Lanxess and the joint acquisition of DEM
  • Hg on the acquisition of a majority stake in Lucanet
  • Bregal on:
    • The acquisition of the Sema group
    • The acquisition of a majority stake in Medavis
  • EMZ Partners on the acquisition of a minority stake in Wishcard
  • Entrepreneurial family Harting on its acquisiton of (indirectly) all shares in Studer Cables
