Anna-Maria Tsakountaki is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Anna-Maria advises clients on all aspects of EU and Greek competition law and represents them before the European Commission. She has particular expertise in merger control proceedings, behavioral cases, anticompetitive agreements, and DMA compliance. She also advises clients on EU regulatory matters.

Her experience covers several industry sectors including technology, consumer goods, telecommunications, and automotive.

Anna-Maria maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on voting rights advocacy.

Prior to joining Latham, Anna-Maria worked as a lawyer at a leading competition law firm in Greece and the Hellenic Competition Commission.

Anna-Maria’s experience includes representing:

  • Allison Transmission in its planned US$2.7 billion acquisition of Dana’s Off-Highway business
