Anna is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department.

Anna advises clients on a wide range of complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, including financial, corporate, insolvency, and shareholder claims.

Prior to qualification, Anna trained in the firm’s London office, gaining experience in corporate, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and special situations, arbitration, and complex commercial litigation matters. Anna also gained experience at the New York State Attorney General’s Office.

Anna’s experience includes advising: 

  • Barclays in a group claim by more than 100 claimants under Sections 90 and 90A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). The threatened claim related to allegedly untrue or misleading statements and/or omissions made by the bank in the period regarding its “dark pool” trading system
  • Farfetch, the luxury e-commerce retailer, on its restructuring involving a UK pre-pack administration process 
  • Astorg and Epiris on their consortium £1.6 billion UK Takeover Code offer for Euromoney Institutional Investor, a leading financial news and information business
  • Biwater on the defense of a winding-up petition brought by the group’s pensions trustees
