Andrew DiMatteo is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins, a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department, and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). His practice focuses on government enforcement actions, internal investigations, and technology and intellectual property matters.
Andrew represents market-leading healthcare companies in investigations and litigation matters involving potential False Claims Act (FCA) and Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) violations, and he advises clients on data privacy and cybersecurity risks, compliance with consumer protection law, and trade secret and copyright matters.
Andrew maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients on immigration matters in partnership with organizations such as the National Immigrant Justice Center.
Prior to joining Latham, Andrew worked as a software engineer at a global IT consultancy before receiving his JD from Washington University in St. Louis. In law school, Andrew was a member of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law’s Entrepreneurship Clinic and assisted startups and non-profits with corporate matters.
