Anastasia Pyrinis is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins. She represents public and private companies, as well as their officers and directors, in complex litigation and regulatory matters. Her practice focuses on securities class actions and securities fraud litigation, merger-related disputes, shareholder derivative actions, and other complex commercial litigation. She also advises clients on strategies to prevent litigation.
Anastasia draws on a background in economics, media relations, and government affairs to help clients navigate the complex litigation and regulatory landscape.
Before joining Latham, Anastasia served as a law clerk to Judge Patrick J. Bumatay of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Anastasia earned her JD from Harvard Law School, where she served as executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology and managing editor of the Journal of Law & Public Policy. During law school, she interned with the US Attorney’s Offices for the District of Massachusetts and the District of Hawaii and externed for Chief Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Before law school, Anastasia worked at the Central Intelligence Agency.
