Amber Holder is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Amber Holder maintains an active pro bono practice, representing wrongfully convicted individuals in state postconviction proceedings. She also maintains an immigration pro bono practice, representing individuals and families seeking asylum.
Amber received her law degree from Duke University School of Law. While in law school, Amber worked as a student attorney in the Duke Immigrant Rights Clinic, where she represented deported veterans seeking humanitarian parole and assisted individuals in removal proceedings. Amber received her undergraduate degree in Music and completed a Master’s degree in Musicology, both at the Pennsylvania State University.
During her second year at Duke, Amber founded the Duke Immigrant Stories Lab, a student organization which strove to provide engaging community education about immigrant rights issues through presenting theatre alongside educational exhibits.
Prior to law school, Amber worked as a non-profit arts administrator in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
