Allayne Thomas is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins. Allayne advises clients on white collar investigations for clients across a variety of industries. She also has experience on assisting clients on compliance with US export controls and trade sanctions.
Allayne also maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting clients through their USCIS applications through Tahirih Justice Center and working to expand accommodations for disabled parolee rights alongside the ACLU.
Allayne received her law degree from Cornell University. While attending law school, Allayne served as Co-President of National Lawyers Guild and Vice-President of the Black Law Students Association. Allayne received her bachelor's degree from Duke University, where she was a Robertson Scholar and graduated with distinction.
Prior to joining Latham, Allayne worked as a summer associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office.
