Ali Beidoun is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Investment Funds Practice.

Ali advises private fund sponsors, investors, and joint venture participants in forming, investing in, and operating private investment funds.

Ali’s experience includes:

  • Representing sponsors in organizing, negotiating, and operating US and global investment funds, including buyout, debt, and other funds
  • Structuring and negotiating fund agreements, co-investment arrangements, and internal sponsor arrangements
  • Structuring and negotiating bespoke fund arrangements and liquidity transactions such as separately managed accounts, preferred equity investments, and annex funds
  • Ongoing representation of fund entities and their portfolio companies on general corporate transactional and governance matters
  • Representing institutional investors on fund investments and related transactions

Ali advises clients across multiple investment areas and asset classes, such as buyout funds, credit and debt, growth equity, healthcare, real estate, energy, power, and infrastructure.
