Alex Reicher advises sophisticated clients on complex, cross-border antitrust and competition matters.
Alex leverages extensive experience working in-house, as outside counsel, and for the US government to help companies and investors navigate the global competition regulatory landscape. He advises clients on a range of high-stakes matters, including:
- Government investigations and conduct inquiries
- Merger control strategy and transaction counseling
Alex brings a unique transatlantic perspective and solutions-oriented approach to disputes and investigations before US and global regulators, including the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the US Department of Justice (DOJ), state attorneys general, the European Commission, and the German Federal Cartel Office. Alex also has extensive experience representing clients in US federal courts.
Before returning to Latham, he served as an Associate General Counsel, Competition and Regulatory at a leading tech company for over six years. He also previously served as an attorney at the FTC in San Francisco and as an associate in Latham’s San Francisco office.
Complementing his work for clients, Alex is an active member of the antitrust bar, where he has served in various ABA Antitrust Section leadership roles, including as a vice chair of the membership committee.
