Alex Farris is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Tax Department.

Mr. Farris represents public and private companies, partnerships, investors, and financial institutions in a wide range of cross-border and domestic tax matters.

Mr. Farris graduated from UCLA School of Law, where he was named a Thomas A. Kirschbaum Scholar in Tax Law and awarded the Masin Family Academic Excellence Gold Award. While attending law school, he served as senior editor on the UCLA Law Review and President of the UCLA Tax and Estate Planning Law Association.
