Adam Deutsch is a member of the Private Equity Finance Practice and Israel Practice, and is based in the Tel Aviv and New York offices of Latham & Watkins. He primarily represents borrowers in secured lending transactions, with special expertise in Fund Finance.
Adam’s practice is focused on tailoring bespoke financing solutions for investment funds with complex structures across a variety of asset classes, including private equity, real estate, credit and infrastructure. He regularly advises sponsors and their portfolio companies through a wide array of financings, including:
- Subscription lines of credit (also referred to as “capital call facilities”) secured by uncalled capital commitments and related rights, which provide borrowing capacity for investment funds, as well as their parallel funds, alternative investment vehicles, special purpose vehicles and portfolio companies
- NAV-based facilities and hybrid variations
- General partner financings and management lines provided to general partners and investment advisors for working capital purposes
- Co-investment loan programs made available to employees, partners and other investment professionals and secured by their fund interests
- Unsecured demand lines
- Fund guarantees of portfolio level investments
