Jansen VanderMeulen is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. VanderMeulen joins Latham after a clerkship with Judge Richard C. Tallman of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. VanderMeulen received his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was senior articles editor for the Virginia Law and Business Review, editor-in-chief of the Virginia Law Weekly, and a Legal Writing Fellow.

During law school, Mr. VanderMeulen served as a summer law clerk for the US Attorney for the Western District of Washington. Through the law school’s Prosecution Clinic, Mr. VanderMeulen prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies in Virginia state court.
