Leandra Joseph is an associate in the Washington D.C. office of Latham & Watkins, where she was a summer associate prior to joining Latham full-time.

Ms. Joseph previously interned for the US Securities & Exchange Commission, Division of Enforcement, researching and drafting memoranda concerning legal issues arising during the investigation of suspected violations of securities laws. She also worked as a legal intern in the US Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Joseph received her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, graduating with a Wharton Certificate in Management, a Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award, and as senior editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law and Social Change. Ms. Joseph was a petition drafter for the Criminal Record Expungement Project and a student in the Transnational Legal Clinic, which focused on international human rights and immigration matters.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Joseph attended Oakwood University, graduating summa cum laude with a BA in International Studies and a minor in Political Science.
