Meet Our 2026 Summer Associate Class

May 18, 2026
We are pleased to welcome 398 law students as summer associates in our London and US offices.

Latham & Watkins is pleased to welcome 398 law students as summer associates across our London and US offices.

During the 10-week program, our summer associates will experience life as junior associates, working on complex and cutting-edge matters alongside market-leading lawyers. Through hands-on assignments, comprehensive training, and direct collaboration with lawyers across the firm, participants will gain meaningful exposure to Latham’s unmatched capabilities and global platform.

Each summer associate is paired with mentors who provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the program, fostering strong professional relationships and a collaborative, inclusive experience. Summer Academy, a cornerstone of the program, brings together participants from across our global offices for immersive training, cross-office collaboration, and social programming — offering a firsthand look at how Latham operates as one unified firm.

Representing 57 law schools and 165 undergraduate institutions, this year’s summer associates bring a breadth of academic achievement, professional experience, and global exposure that positions them to contribute from day one. They reflect the drive and ambition that make us the best in class.

“This year’s summer associate class is exceptional,” said Michèle Penzer, Global Chair of Latham’s Recruiting Committee. “They bring strong academic credentials, meaningful practical experience, and a clear commitment to leadership. We look forward to supporting their growth and development as they begin their careers at Latham.”
