Four Latham & Watkins Partners Named “Top Latin America Lawyers”

Roderick Branch, Christopher Cross, Antonio Del Pino and John Sachs have been named to Latinvex’s “Latin America’s Top 100 Lawyers” list. The editorial staff of Latinvex based their selections on various factors, including recent track record on major deals and business, the prominence of Latham’s practice in Latin America and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Thomson Reuters. 

In its report, Latinvex recognized: 

• Roderick Branch’s work on capital market transactions, including the US$598 million IPO of Infraestructura Energética Nova (IEnova), the first by an energy company in Mexican history; 
• Christopher Cross’s work in corporate transactions, project development and finance, including ArcLight Capital and NET Midstream Holdings LLC’s investment in the US$700 million Agua Dulce-Frontera natural gas pipeline project; 
• Tony Del Pino, Co-Chair of the Latin America Practice, who is noted as a leading corporate and M&A legal expert, including his work on Foster Wheeler’s acquisition of NorthAm Engineering; and 
• John Sachs’ work in Latin America-wide project finance and development
