Latham & Watkins Advises Universal Instruments in Sale to Delta Electronics

Multidisciplinary deal team represented the manufacturer of precision automation solutions for the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry.

Universal Instruments, a global leader in precision automation solutions for smart manufacturing that provides precision automation solutions to world-leading customers in a broad range of fields, including automotive, computing, medical, industrial, as well as printed circuit board surface mount placement and odd-form insertion, completed its sale to Delta Electronics, Inc., a global leading provider of smart energy-saving solutions. The transaction valued the Universal Instruments enterprise at US$88.9 million.
