Latham & Watkins Advises The Carlyle Group in Financing for the Acquisition of Tufin by Turn/River Capital

This cross-border financing helps Turn/River Capital take private Tufin, an Israel headquartered, NYSE-listed public company specializing in cybersecurity applications.

Tufin®, a company pioneering a policy-centric approach to security and IT operations, has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Turn/River Capital, a software-focused investment firm, in an all-cash transaction that values Tufin at approximately US$570 million. The Carlyle Group provided financing for the transaction.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised The Carlyle Group in the transaction a deal team led by Los Angeles finance partner Jason Bosworth and Bay Area finance partner Haim Zaltzman, with London finance partner Hendrik Smit, Houston finance partner Pamela Kellet, and Los Angeles associate Hai Pham. Advice was also provided on regulatory matters by Chicago partner Laura Ferrell; and on tax matters by Bay Area partner Katharine Moir, Century City partner Julie Crisp, and London partner Karl Mah, with Bay Area associate Alexander Farris and London associate Aoife McCabe.
