Latham & Watkins Advises Sixth Street on US$176 Million Acquisition of the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa

Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm, has announced it has acquired the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa, the 193-key, luxury mountain resort in one of the nation’s premier ski destinations, for US$176 million from Braemar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: BHR). Sixth Street completed this transaction in partnership with Riller Capital.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised Sixth Street in the transaction with a corporate team led by Chicago partner Gary Axelrod, with associates Dominique Gonzales and Lura Bonney. Advice was also provided on finance matters by Chicago counsel Dustin Paige.
