The firm was recognized by Asian Legal Business on winning capital markets and M&A transactions.
Latham & Watkins advised on two transactions that were named Deals of the Year in the 2026 Asian Legal Business China Law Awards. These accolades highlight our role advising on key capital markets and M&A transactions in China.
The award-winning deals include:
- Debt Market Deal of the Year (Midsize): Bilibili Convertible Senior Notes and SEC-Registered Delta Placement — The firm advised the underwriters on the upsized offering by Bilibili, a video community for young generations in China.
- M&A Deal of the Year (Premium): Geely Auto’s Acquisition of Zeekr — The firm advised automobile manufacturer Geely Auto in the take-private of its subsidiary Zeekr Intelligent Technology. The transaction marked the first Hong Kong-listed company privatizing a US-listed company through a cash/stock election transaction.
