International Academy of Trial Lawyers Inducts Litigation & Trial Partner Mary Rose Alexander

Latham & Watkins LLP is pleased to announce that Mary Rose Alexander, Managing Partner of the firm’s Chicago office, has been inducted as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), one of the most prestigious organizations in the legal profession.

Her induction was formally recognized at the Academy’s 2026 Annual Meeting in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Academy is an invitation‑only fellowship comprised of the world’s leading trial attorneys. With a mission to uphold and advance the rule of law, the Academy limits membership to 500 active trial lawyers in the United States and more than 150 Fellows from 30 countries. Members represent both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases, as well as prosecutors and criminal defense lawyers.

A nationally recognized trial lawyer, Mary Rose leverages her extensive experience to guide clients through complex commercial litigation and high‑stakes trials in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration forums across the country.

Mary Rose joins her Latham Litigation & Trial Department colleague, David Marriott, who is also an IATL Fellow.
