New York Legal Assistance Group Honors Latham

Latham & Watkins received the Champion of Justice Award from New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) at the organization’s 2026 Pro Bono Awards celebration. This award recognizes the firm’s myriad efforts on behalf of many NYLAG projects and clients, including upholding the rights of students with disabilities and assisting elderly individuals with advance planning documents. Our lawyers also participated in clinics for communities that have historically faced challenges in accessing legal services, covering a variety of legal matters such as family law and housing security.

Thus far in 2026, Latham's work spanned more than nine teams and projects for the civil legal services organization, one of the highest contributions of time donated in a single year.
