Financial News has named London partner Yen Sum to its 100 Most Influential Women in European Finance list for the fifth consecutive year. The prestigious list, published annually since 2007, celebrates pioneering women working across institutional financial services in Europe.
Yen was recognized for her election to Latham’s global executive committee in March 2026, alongside her existing role as Global Chair of the firm’s Private Capital Practice. Yen was also commended for her extensive experience advising on complex financings, hybrid capital investments, buyouts, reorganizations, and restructurings; over the past 12 months she has advised on several market-shaping deals, including Ingenico’s €1.37 billion financial and operational restructuring, and representing the bondholders in the €5.15 billion recapitalization of Intrum.
