Latham Advises Salience Labs on US$125 Million Series B

London team represents photonic chip leader on oversubscribed financing round.
Latham & Watkins has advised Salience Labs, a leader in photonic chips targeting connectivity for AI datacenter infrastructure, on its oversubscribed US$125 million Series B funding round.
The round was led by Bullhound Capital, with participation from new investors AMD Ventures, Intel Capital, SBI Group, Hudson River Trading, and British Business Bank, and existing shareholders including Applied Ventures LLC, Oxford Science Enterprises, Cambridge Innovation Capital, and Silicon Catalyst Ventures.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Shing Lo, with associate Chez Mansell. Advice was also provided on employment matters by London partner Sarah Gadd and counsel Rebecca Fielding.
