Latham Leaders and Litigators Recognized by D.C. Legal Awards

The firm was shortlisted in seven categories — including D.C. Law Firm of the Year — for continued excellence in appellate, antitrust, white collar, and IP law.

Latham has been named a finalist in seven categories in Law.com's 2026 D.C. Legal Awards, which honor excellence, innovation, and leadership in the Washington legal community. The shortlist recognitions include Law Firm of the Year, underscoring the strength of our D.C. office’s full-service platform. 

Two longtime Latham leaders are up for individual awards:

  • Appellate Attorney of the Year — Greg Garre, former Global Chair of the firm's Supreme Court & Appellate Practice. Widely regarded as one of the nation’s top appellate advocates, Greg has argued more than 50 cases before the US Supreme Court, most recently securing a unanimous victory in Keathley v. Buddy Ayers Construction.
  • Managing Partner of the Year — Mandy Reeves, Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office and a respected leader in the Antitrust & Competition Practice. Mandy is recognized for her stewardship of one of Latham's largest offices.

The firm is a finalist in three Litigation Department of the Year categories:

  • Antitrust, for a run of significant competition wins, trial successes, and innovative advocacy on behalf of clients. Latham has earned recognition in the D.C. Antitrust Litigation Department of the Year category every year since it was introduced.
  • Intellectual Property, for victories in landmark patent, trade secret, and copyright disputes across jurisdictions. The firm has now won or been shortlisted for D.C. IP Litigation Department of the Year in 10 of the last 11 years the category has been included.
  • White Collar, for successfully handling high-profile investigations and enforcement actions for clients from a broad spectrum of industries. This is the fourth year in a row that Latham has been recognized in the D.C. White Collar Litigation Department of the Year category.

Latham is also a finalist for this year’s Appellate Hot List, a distinction the firm has earned nearly every year since the category was introduced, reflecting the caliber of our appellate work before the US Supreme Court and federal and state courts of appeals.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony in October.
