Latham & Watkins Advises the Estate of Paul G. Allen in Completed Sale of Seattle Seahawks

Multidisciplinary team represents the Estate in the sale of the Super Bowl LX Champions to an ownership group led by the Khosla family.
Following approval by NFL owners on August 26, 2026, the Seattle Seahawks have announced that the sale of the franchise to the Khosla family has officially closed. The Khosla family is now the controlling owner of the team.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents the Estate of Paul G. Allen in the transaction with a corporate team led by partners Matthew Eisler, Russell Hedman, and Michael Anastasio, with associates Daniel Weissman, Andrew Klokiw, Cassidy Rowe, Annie Spencer,* Patrick Frith, Sam Spurrell,* Kiley Burns, and Stephanie Lim. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Alan Kimball; and on financing matters by partner Emily Johnson, with associate Melissa Doura.
