Latham Advises Moment on Its US$22 Million Series A

Fundraising to support the development of one of Africa’s most advanced payment infrastructure businesses.
Latham & Watkins has advised Moment, a pan-African fintech, on its US$22 million Series A funding round. This round brings Moment’s total funding to US$55 million to develop one of the continent’s most advanced payment infrastructure businesses.
The round was led by AlphaCode Venture Partners, with participation from General Catalyst, MultiChoice, and Canal+.
The Latham team was led by London partner Shing Lo, with associate Cyrus Fung.
