Chicago partners Brandon Anderson, Roderick Branch, and Ed Siskel have been named to the Crain's Chicago Business 2026 Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law list. The honor spotlights professionals who shape industries, drive major transactions and litigation, and give back through pro bono work, board service, and civic engagement.
Brandon, Global Chair of Latham’s Finance Department, is recognized for advising financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and private equity funds on complex, innovative US and international secured and unsecured financings. His leadership in this space has helped position Latham as the go-to firm for private credit and leveraged finance transactions. Beyond his practice, Brandon provides pro bono counsel in immigration matters involving domestic violence survivors and wrongful-conviction cases.
Roderick, Deputy Managing Partner of Latham’s Chicago office, is recognized for helping lead Latham’s nearly 300-lawyer Chicago office and maintaining an active capital markets and securities regulation practice representing public and private companies, investment banks, and sovereign and quasi-sovereign institutions, with a particular emphasis on Latin America. A member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Board of Trustees, he served on the committee that selected Klaus Mäkelä as the Orchestra’s Music Director, the eleventh in the ensemble’s 135-year history.
Ed, Co-Chair of the firm’s Anti-Discrimination & Civil Rights Practice, is recognized for combining his experience at the White House, Justice Department, private practice, and in-house at a global alternative asset manager to help clients navigate high-stakes legal, policy, reputational, and business challenges as a preeminent litigator and counselor. He serves on the boards of Chicago Humanities, the Institute for Nonviolence Chicago, and the John Paul Stevens Foundation and is a member of the Commercial Club's public safety task force.
