Latham & Watkins has been named the top international M&A advisor in Latin America in the first half of 2026, with 12 deals worth a total of US$12.8 billion, according to Latinvex data.
Latham was previously recognized among the leading international law firms in Latin America in Latinvex’s 2026 ranking of the region’s top international law firms, previously ranked the top international legal advisor for M&A in Latin America by Latinvex, and ranked among the top law firms in Latin America in Latinvex’s 2025 Top Law Firms List, including Band 1 rankings for Corporate/M&A, Energy, and Project Finance work in the region.
