Latham & Watkins Advises The Estate of Paul G. Allen in Agreement to Sell Seattle Seahawks

The Estate of Paul G. Allen has announced it has entered into a formal sale agreement with an ownership group led by the Khosla family, including Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures and co-founder of Sun Microsystems, for the Seattle Seahawks NFL franchise. The Khosla family will become the team’s controlling owner.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents the Estate of Paul G. Allen in the transaction with a corporate team led by partners Matthew Eisler, Russell Hedman, and Michael Anastasio, with associates Daniel Weissman, Andrew Klokiw, Cassidy Rowe, Annie Spencer,* Patrick Frith, Sam Spurrell,* Kiley Burns, and Stephanie Lim. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Alan Kimball, with associate Jacob Nagelberg.
