Latham Advises Silverstein Properties on the Development of American Express’ New Headquarters at 2 World Trade Center

New York real estate team represents developer on landmark office project that will complete the commercial buildout of the World Trade Center campus.

Silverstein Properties announced it has broken ground on 2 World Trade Center, the future global headquarters of American Express in Lower Manhattan. The nearly 2 million-square-foot tower will stand approximately 1,250 feet tall and will mark the final piece of the commercial buildout of the World Trade Center campus. The transaction was recently named Commercial Observer’s 2026 Office Deal of the Year.
