Latham & Watkins has advised global biopharma company GSK on a US$110 million research collaboration with Relation Therapeutics, an end-to-end biotech developing transformational medicine.
Under the collaboration, GSK and Relation Therapeutics will generate large-scale human cellular datasets which would be used to train artificial intelligence foundational models for use in drug discovery. The collaboration builds on earlier partnerships between the companies focused on fibrotic disease and osteoarthritis.
The Latham team was led by London partner Lydia Torne, with associate Luke Nauth.
