Latham Advises Frontier Tower Associates Philippines Inc. on Its Acquisition of Transcend Towers Infrastructure Philippines Inc.

Latham & Watkins has advised Frontier Tower Associates Philippines Inc. (Frontier), a KKR portfolio company, on its acquisition of 100% of the shares of Transcend Towers Infrastructure Inc. (Transcend) from Transcend Infrastructure Holdings Pte. Ltd. Through this transaction, Transcend, the Philippine operating business of American Tower Corporation, is transferring full ownership and control of its tower portfolio to Frontier.

The acquisition adds approximately 400 towers to Frontier’s portfolio, extending the company’s footprint to more than 6,500 sites nationwide.

The Latham team was led by Singapore corporate partner James Clayton-Payne, with Seoul counsel Regina Kim, Hong Kong associate Heidi Lui, and Singapore associate Jonathan Wah. Advice was provided on tax matters by London partner Simon Skinner, with associate Sam Duncan.
